I’m going on a diet, and I love smoothies! So I decided to make that my breakfast everyday and eat it on my way to school. But i want something different. Not just “cherry smoothie” or ‘peach smoothie” (btw i dont like any of those flavors anyway) and I dont like berries AT ALL!(especially raspberries and blue berries and blackberries) But the only berry I like is a Strawberry. I like tropical stuff but no coconut. I would love something like Mango Orange or Strawberry Banana. I want a couple of different recipes so I mix it up every once in a while.
Thanks ♥♫♥ : )

You should put in some banana (1-2), and frozen fruit of whatever kind you like maybe strawberries or pineapple or mango, add some (Silk plus Omega DHA) soymilk and then blend away! This kind turns out deliciously creamy and the soymilk adds some protein to help keep you feeling full.
You can either buy fresh fruit and then freeze it or just buy frozen fruit in the bag. I like to freeze the fruit instead of adding ice because ice makes it taste watery. I have one of these every morning. To mix it up I change up the frozen fruit I use and always keep the banana and soy milk.

Well you can mix any fruits and they’ll taste awesome I love smoothies too. One that I really like is banana and orange. Ok, I know that sounds really gross but it is actually really good. Mix in half a banana with some orange (or orange juice!) and even put in some orange rinds. It tastes really good because the banana is sweet and the orange gives it a tangy kick and it tastes so good, trust me. You can do strawberry smoothies on its own, cause those are good too. You should go to a health food store and get some protein soy powder. You put it in your smoothies, it barely has any flavor, and it gives it a lot of protein so its really healthy!

Smoothies made with sweetened yogurt aren’t going to help you lose weight. If you’re looking for healthy smoothies that will help you lose weight, do this. go buy a 32 oz container of Dannon plain (NO SUGAR added) fat-free yogurt. Make sure you have some skim milk, protein powder, frozen fruit (strawberry, mangoes, whatever else you like), fiber powder (clear, and flavorless), fresh fruit, like bananas, and some fruit juice thats not from concentrate (orange juice, pomegranate juice, etc). Blend 1 cup of plain yogurt with 1/2 cup of skim milk or fruit juice, and some protein and fiber powder (it will make you feel fuller so you won’t need to consume as many calories). Add some frozen fruit, or if you’re using fresh fruit, add some ice cubes.

  8. ok, theses are my own inventions, but they are GOOD, trust me i wouldn’t tell you the bad ones

1/2 sliced peach, 1/2 cup fat free plain yoghurt, 1 cup orange juice with or with out pulp. Just blend it for about 4 minutes or until smooth (also good with banana instead of peach, just use a whole banana)

1/2 of a small cucumber, 1 tbs lemon juice, 1/4 cup fat free plain yoghurt, 1/2 cup water

  9. TROPICAL SMOOTHIE:

    1 cup chopped pinapple
    1/2 or 1/4 a mango
    1 lemon
    1 orange
3 cups vanilla yogurt or ice cream (or ice)
    water or milk

put all ingredients in a blender. and blend.
btw, the portions may not be accurate b/c i never really measure things…
