Cheerios are pretty good for you, definitely better than the other cereals out there, except maybe Special K. Plain Cheerios, that is. The others have some sugar in there, I don’t know if you’re worried about that or not. It definitely also depends on what type of milk you are eating with the cereal.
Healthy breakfast drinks would be fruit juice. Plain ol’ orange juice or apple juice, except again there is a lot of sugar in there. Why not try water?
Also, it’s okay to cheat a little because if you don’t you will go nuts and go to McDonald’s and ruin all that you’ve worked for!

  3. Cheerios are pretty healthy, but the best cold cereal (health-wise) is probably bran flakes or All Bran. Look for ones that have a lot of fiber, not too much sugar, and about 100-120 calories per serving. Also, watch your serving sizes….most of the time, it’s one cup. I usually measure mine to make sure I don’t eat too much.

    Hi Eric

The answer is yes, cheerios are healthy. They provide vitamins and fibers needed for you body to run properly, and they can truthfully lower your cholesterol. Regarding healthy drinks, pure organic juices are always good, and if you use fresh fruit in your smoothies, that’s healthy too. Whenever I need a quick, healthy drink, i just grab a bottle of water.

P.S. Chocolate Milk is alright in moderation, but to have a healthier version, you can use organic or skim milk, and ovaltine or other chocolate powder.

Yes. The plain ones are the healthiest for you- add fresh fruit for sweetness. Try also raisin bran and shredded wheat.
Oatmeal and cream of wheat or rice are also very healthy. Muesli is very popular in Europe and is similar to granola.
Stay away from cereals with sugar added- they are less healthy even when they have other healthy ingredients.
Try different juices if you like- cranberry and grapefruit are healthy (avoid grapefruit if you are on certain medications). Most juices are high in sugar, however (apple and grape are worst) so eating the actual fruit itself is healthier than drinking the juice.
A smoothie made of fresh juice and plain yogurt is a healthy alternative.
