Does anyone have any suggestions for healthy breakfast recipes that are easy to take with me? I usually end up grabbing a granola bar, but feel it’s probably healthier to have something with more substance…any ideas?

    Their are some drinks for example Boost that has all the essential vitamins and minerals in a meal!

  6. fiber bars, fruit, yogurt and a plastic spoon, protein shakes, etc. the night before you can chop up some fruit and put it in a plastic baggy for in the car or on the go!

    if you like hard boiled eggs with a little salt thats a great source of protien and energy booster that will keep you running threw your morning or an apple or bananas which will fill you up and keep you satisfied til lunch. the special k bars are great for the morning and they taste good too. hope this helped

    theres some companies like herbalife dat
    make milkshakes dat r for breakfast. but there not diet.
    they just contain a lot of minerals and vitamins and of course
    protein. they even sometimes sell them in stores like walmart or sams.

    It takes some preparation but I ve been reading good things about hardboiled eggs. Very good for hang overs and apparently they have done a test in which people who breakfast everyday with a HB-egg loose more weight than other dieters.

    You should try quaker oatmeal squares which equal one boal of oatmeal. They taste so good, are very healthy, and are very filling. You could also just make a fruit smoothie. A simple one is to add suger, milk, and bananas and blend them together. The exact amount doesn’t really matter. You can just kind of guess at it. You could buy V8 the one with fruits and vegetables and freeze it into a popsicle. You can get cereal to go bars or chewy bars.

    Try those yogurt smoothies. SO good.

    You might also want to try the oatmeal bars from Quaker. Brown cinnamon is really good.

    I also liked a chocolate Royal Slimfast and a banana. Quick, easy, healthy.

    Make eggs with turkey sausage and wheat tortillas on a Sunday. Wrap them in cellophane. Before you leave, put them in the microwave for 60 seconds and go. My FAVORITE breakfast.

    Buy a pack of frozen strawberries, and a package of lemonade powder. Mix up a cup and a half of string lemonade and put it in the blender with three cups of strwberries. Mix em up for a delicious helthy treat, and for more substance, throw in a tablespoon or two of whey protein. Pour it in a long cup, and invest in a plastic straw, and ur on ur way :)

    I make egg white omeletes a couple days in advance. You can put all kinds of stuff in them. Mine usually consist of fat free feta, tons of spinach, and crab meat or fish and a tbs of cream cheese. I realize that’s not for everyone but it’s very healthy…tons of protein which keeps me going even well passed the lunch hour (I’m very busy and excercise a lot). When I’m ready for one in the morning I throw it in the microwave for 40 seconds to reheat and throw it in a small whole grain tortilla. It takes me longer to make my morning cup of joe. When I get to work I down 10 oz. of O.J., after my body processes the coffee…otherwise too much acidity. I’m “supercharged” every morning with this routine.

  16. eating healthy is all about having the proper foods on hand. it takes 10 minutes to prepare and cook a small omelet or some scrambled eggs. the night before you can prep the ingredients and in the am all you have to do is heat up the pan cook it, throw it in some tin foil, etc. and you are out the door. granola bars are better than nothing but they are not really health not when compared to whole foods.
