They consist of:
2 Slices of Pineapple
1 6oz. light and fit yogurt
4 oz. light and healthy orange juice
1 handful frozen strawberries (no sugar added)
1 handful frozen bluberries (no sugar added)
1 handful spinach (sounds gross but you cant taste it)

I am trying to lose weight, is it healthy to be eating this for breakfast and lunch?
Oh also half a medium banana. I forgot that one..

It sure is healthy for breakfast and lunch, but I suggest you add some protein powder for an extra boost. I’m going to have to try out your recipe!

When trying to lose weight, I have had the best results on a low carb diet. That means no fruit. The smoothy you described has about a zillion carbs in it. I suggest fish, broccoli and water.

of course they are healthy, all the power to ya

Modify it a bit by substituting low fat soy milk or yogurt for the yogurt you are using, remove the orange juice and strawberries, add acai powder and stevia (if you need sweetness). Use a few more blueberries. I left the pineapple in because of the fiber and enzymes it contains. Great idea adding the spinach!

What you want is something that is nutritionally dense, with fiber and protein, but lower in carbs and sugars.

Excellent, I am going to try the spinach in our morning smoothies, I will tell my wife after the fact ;-) We also add flax seed and protein poweder, I find they really help you feel full for a long time.
