What is something healthy, energizing, and quick that I can make and eat before and between classes?
anonymous miranda. asked:
I’m starting college soon and need some quick one-handed healthy snacks (preferably non-packaged junk, I already know about bars and such) and breakfast that I can eat while walking to the bus stop, and walking to and from classes.

I’m good with cooking, so it’d be good to cook things the night before….
What are your suggestions?
I’m browsing recipe sites and such but wanted to see what kind of other answers I could get.

Drink plenty of water and for a quick pick me up take either Special K’s Protein packets to add to your water for added protein throughout the day. Another good idea is to take almonds they are extra protein and are easily carried in a back pack. You can also make your own granola and can find many different varieties at either health food stores or specialty organic stores. I use to take organic cereal and put in sliced almonds. If you have the room they have small containers of lite ranch dressing and you could also take individually packaged carrots to dip in the ranch. So the list is as creative as you want it to be.
