As many of you may know, school is coming up pretty quickly. I need to start eating breakfast, healthy breakfast. What are some great on the go healthy recipes, that can be made beforehand for the whole week?

oatmeal
i don’t know if you can make it ahead but if you get the quick cooking kind it only takes 1 1/2 minutes
Breakfast cookies are nice and filling, which is what breakfast needs to be. This recipe sounds kind of crazy at first look, but it’s actually really good. I use applesauce instead of carrots (you’ll see when you look at the recipe), and Craisins instead of raisins, so if there’s something you don’t like, just substitute it for something else. It’s your recipe, so adjust it to fit you.
Nutrition facts can be found to the left of the recipe if you’re interested.
I like to make them Sunday night or afternoon, and store them in a Ziplock bag to keep them fresh. You can also store them in the freezer, just remember to give them a little time to thaw.
I wouldn’t prepare food for the entire week if I were you–maybe just the night before.
And if you do that, as long a you seal the food up right, you can have whatever you want for breakfast.
Maybe some toast and a piece of fruit?
Yogurt and cereal is really good

bagels are great, quickly pop them in the toaster and you’re out the door. Yogurt smoothies, just grab and go. If you are watching your weight Slim Fast bars and drinks are great for on the go breakfasts. Also granola bars, frozen breakfast sandwiches (take a minute to heat in the microwave), Nutri Grain bars

I make pancakes ahead. You can make them healthier by using the Heart Healthy Bisquick and adding Flax or Bran. Make all the pancakes up then freeze/fridge them.
When you’re ready to head out the door, pop 1 or 2 into the toaster. They come out really good. My teen likes them just plain toasted out of the toaster, but you could also put a little peanut butter or nutella between 2 for a breakfast sandwich.
Hope you’re able to try them out and put your own spin on them!
BTW- you can also make ahead French Toast, freeze and re-heat in the toaster too, but it’s not what I’d call “healthy”, lol.
