Baby Nolan arrived Apr 18, 2009! spurði: I’m making “chicken over rice” and I’m looking for a tasty recipe for brown rice. I don’t want it to be bland but at the same time I want to keep it healthy, so I don’t want to add a lot of creams or butter. Maybe cook it with some sort of broth and spices or something…Líka, I remember a few years back I had chicken over rice and the rice had some sort of “nutty ” bits in it.
Do you have any good recipes that you’d like to share? =)

Keyboard Cat spurði: When I get up in the morning, I usually have just enough time to throw on my clothes and run out the door to catch the bus. I’ve been trying to find healthy breakfasts that I can make that are really quick and “transportable” if possible. Everyone always suggests the following: Haframjöl, Smoothies, Egg Whites. These are often not the most transportable foods and these can even take a while to make, plus some of these things don’t stay very fresh or appetizing if they’re pre-made. I am a huge toast lover also but everyone says it spikes your bloodsugar and makes you crash, and I always have a crash about an hour and a half after breakfast. I’ve also eaten granola to death and its starting to taste like cardboard, so I am desperate for help!
Are there any foods that are extremely quick to make but also very healthy? Are there any healthy freezer-to-microwave breakfasts available in stores to buy? How can I avoid the morning crash?
