They have lots of carbs, so I personally wouldn’t choose them as my breakfast. I would be hungry an hour later once my blood sugar crashed!
But don’t they have loads of grease on them? Probably not the healthiest choice….especially when they’re fried.

iimagine oat meal, or cream of wheat, but thicker.. they arent the prettiest thing to look at first thing in the am. and people put some NASTY things on them. they make a low carb instant oatmeal now that would probably be better for you.
I prefer mine with butter, salt and pepper. But then, I am a Southerner. They are starchy (made from corn), and a tasty side dish with eggs and bacon, as opposed to hash browns. I wouldn’t recommend them alone as a meal.
예, they’re healthy, I grew up eating them. You don’t normally put honey and milk in them (at least most southerners don’t), that’s for oatmeal or cream of wheat. Grits are usually eaten with salt, pepper and (optional depending on how unhealthy you wanna be) butter and cheese. To avoid them being “gritty” and nasty, you might want to cook them slowly and stir them often.
They are just corn.
