sarah asked: I am not a breakfast kind of person. What is something healthy? I am concentrating on fruits, veggies, and wheats/grains. I don’t like oat meal sorry to say. Whats something else? Cereal has lots of fats and sugars.
Does anyone know any good smoothie recipes?

anonymous miranda. asked: I’m starting college soon and need some quick one-handed healthy snacks (preferably non-packaged junk, I already know about bars and such) and breakfast that I can eat while walking to the bus stop, and walking to and from classes.
I’m good with cooking, so it’d be good to cook things the night before….
What are your suggestions?
I’m browsing recipe sites and such but wanted to see what kind of other answers I could get.

actionjackson asked: Lately my family’s diet has been less than great, with too much meat, not enough vegetables and too many fast food nights. I want to find a weekly menu the incorporates healthy recipes into daily routines. I am looking for a menu that had breakfast, lunch dinner and snacks that treat our bodies good, and possibly, several different menus so that I can start a rotation. I looked into doing all this work myself, but I don’t even know where to start, anyone already on the right side of a nutritious diet who can help me out?

Emily S asked: Is this healthy??? (I want to eat this pancake. I want to make it 2morrow. (Im gonna eat 1/4 cup of the batter, 1 tablespoon maple syrup(1/4 cup 220 calories), and some blueberries. Is that HEALTHY or not??
Heres the recipe:
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Fresh Or Frozen Fruit
Maple syrup
Prepare the pan or griddle over medium heat. Keeping it at high heat will burn the pancakes and low heat will just under cook it.
Combine the dry ingredients into a bowl and the wet ingredients in another. The powdered sugar, fruit, and maple syrup are for the toppings after, so don’t mix it into the batter!
Beat the wet ingredients with an egg beater and then slowly add the dry mixture in. Stir well.
Use a fork and then work your way into the batter to get the lumps out. Rotate the bowl so you get an even mixture.
Once smooth, pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the pan or griddle. Depending on how big you want the pancakes, you can adjust the amount that goes onto the hot surface.
It should take about a minute per side, but if not, leave it until it is golden brown and then flip it. The first pancake usually looks funky so don’t stress if it comes out wrong. The other pancakes should come out fine.
Using a thin spatula, take the finished pancakes off the pan/griddle. Serve with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, maple syrup, or any combination of the 3.
Here Are My Questions I Want Answered Please:
- Is the amount of what I want to eat healthy for breakfast?
- I dont have vegetable oil, I do have Canola Oil though, will Canola Oil Work Instead?
Answer BOTH my questions in ORDER please, whoever does that is who Ill choose as “Best Answer.” Be Honest Please. Thank You. Have A Great Day! Bye. =)
